Goodreads Synopsis:

Zac Di Fiori's life is about to turn one-eighty degrees North.

I lived my life on thrill at a time, never setting down roots, never believing I'd ever find a place to call Home.

Until Magali.

The moment those silver eyes blaze right through me, I'm a goner. The way she sees past my defenses, her passion for helping others, the gentle touch she has with children...

Everything about her tells me I've finally done the impossible.

I've found my forever.

But after an entire lifetime of being alone, orphaned under suspicious circumstances and shipped off to boarding school by a pathetic excuse for family, forever seems too good to be true.

And I know all too well how quickly it can be taken away.

But Magali has a way of drawing me out of the past, and looking toward a future filled with family.

Turns out finding Home isn't so impossible after all... All I have to do is believe in it.

Book Review:
Pre-reading Thoughts:

The time has come for me to read Zac's story. I absolutely adored Liam's story and have nothing but good expectations for Zac's. During Liam's story, we managed to catch a glimpse of Zac's happily ever after and I really can't wait to read more of it. I do have some expectations for this book and for Zac. He is depicted as a daredevil in Liam's story and I hope that he can live up to that title!

Thank you so much to the lovely Sylvie Parizeau for sending me a physical copy of this book! I cannot wait to see what you have in store of Zac! Just a small disclaimer to those who are reading this review. I have received this book for free. No money from my pocket was spent in getting this book. Please do note that in no way does this affect my opinion. All thoughts still remain my own.

Writing Thoughts:

Sylvie is known for her ability to describe places to the point where you can feel the snow on the tips of your fingers and the wind rustling through your hair. This writing in this book was way better than in the first, if that is even possible. Everything was so vivid and gorgeous. Sylvie has done an incredible job with this book.

Plot Thoughts:

Although this book is shorter, it is just as amazing (if not better) than the first book. I absolutely enjoyed the fast paced romance and absolutely adorable moments in this book. There was never a dull moment and it was so great to see not Zac's story but to see the continuation of Liam and Éolie story. This book was down right gorgeous and if I had tags to put on the pages, I would have to have used hundreds. This book lives up the Happily Ever After that we were promised in the first book and I cannot wait to see more from these characters.

Character Thoughts:

Zac was such a funny and witty character. When ever he was with the GGS (his family/friends), he was so funny and the banter that he has with every character had be laughing out loud multiple times. Zac was also an absolute sweetheart who stole your heart away from the beginning. Arrogance really worked for him as well.

Magali was just amazing. We briefly met her in the first book, Incandescently, and she was such a lively character. She is definitely the mother figure of this story. She also knows when something is important to her and when she should do what is best for her. She is a character who knows who she is and won't hide who she is for anyone.

Final Thoughts:

Overall, I absolutely loved this story. It was way better than the first one which just makes me think that the third book will just be spectacular! The characters were an absolute pleasure to read from and the plot was just downright gorgeous. There were so many moments that I wouldn't want to forget. Please do note that there are some sexual scenes and I would therefore be cautious of reading this if you are young. Thank you so much to Sylvie for sending me a copy of her book! I had an amazing time reading this incredible book!

Yours in Reading,

Melleny
